🏢 St James Street PBSA – Topping Out!

Dominic Underhill and Phoebe Knight from the Bloom team were delighted to attend the St James Street PBSA topping-out ceremony a few weeks back, hosted by Aitch Construction alongside the client, YourTRIBE / Aitch Group, and the wider project team.

The development will deliver 224 high-quality student units and 628 sqm of ground-floor commercial space, across two separate blocks of up to six storeys.

Topping out marks an important milestone, with the building now reaching its highest point. Speeches were held on the roof by Laurence Quail, Managing Director of Aitch Group, Aitch Construction and Tribe Student Housing, and Jake Woods Delivery Director of Aitch Construction, who thanked the project team for their continued efforts and highlighted the busy months ahead.

It was also a great opportunity to catch up with the wider project team away from our usual site meetings and see the progress first-hand.

As part of the visit, Dom and Phoebe toured the newly completed marketing suite, show apartments and LKD space. Having snagged these areas last month, it was fantastic to see them finished and already bringing the development to life.

With Practical Completion still a few months away, there is plenty more work to be done. Bloom will continue to lead the project in our PM, EA and QS roles through to completion.
