‘Tis the Season of Goodwill 🎄✨

Yesterday, the Bloom BC team headed to Hackney Foodbank to lend a helping hand during this busy festive season. The team spent the day packing and sorting emergency food parcels that will support local families over Christmas.

These parcels are a lifeline for many in Hackney, reaching over 708 people every week. Our tasks included packing long-life essentials into crates, preparing fresh fruit and vegetable bags, and decanting household items like sugar, washing powder, and washing-up liquid.

We were incredibly grateful for the kind words from Jenna Fansa, Head of Comms & Fundraising at Hackney Foodbank, whose testimonial perfectly captures the impact of the team’s efforts and the importance of coming together during this busy time of year.
