Works completed: Bloom was appointed as Project Mangers/Employer’s Agent/Cost Consultants to successfully deliver this cladding remediation scheme funded by the Cladding Safety Scheme (CSS). The project concerned replacement of combustible cladding and external wall materials to an existing 6 storey building (45nr residential flats).

Key features of this project and our role:

• Replacement of all existing cladding to external walls facing an internal courtyard
• Works to remove and replace existing cavity barriers as per the recommendations of an FRAEW report
• Preparation of CSS Works Package and production of monthly cost/progress reports
• Liaison with the Building Remediation Manager and Fire Engineer to ensure compliance
• Preparation of a contract package and Employer’s Agent duties (JCT Design and Build).

Throughout this project we acted as Grant Certifying Officer and managed the project team to ensure completion within target timeframe, also while minimising disruption to existing residents.
