Works completed: Bloom was appointed to provide full project consultancy support for a major Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) development on a constrained inner-city site. Our role included acting as Project Manager, Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveyor, alongside overseeing the demolition and clearance of the existing building.

Due to the urban location and neighbouring stakeholders, careful coordination and communication were essential to minimise disruption and support safe project delivery. We managed the works through a collaborative approach, ensuring key risks and constraints were effectively addressed.

Following concerns regarding the existing roof condition, Bloom carried out a drone-based inspection to assess defects and inaccessible areas safely. The findings informed remedial recommendations and a long-term maintenance strategy, providing the client with greater certainty and supporting future asset management.
