Works completed: Bloom was appointed by the lender to provide independent project monitoring and cost consultancy services for a partially completed five-unit residential development. Our role was to assess project viability, review the cost-to-complete, identify key risks and provide a controlled route to completion.

Our services included cost and programme reviews, site inspections, lender reporting, drawdown assessments, and oversight of technical, statutory and quality requirements. We supported the delivery strategy by monitoring progress, managing risks and coordinating key close-out activities.

Through proactive monitoring and cost control, Bloom has helped establish a clear completion plan for the stalled development, providing lender confidence and supporting the successful delivery of five high-quality residential dwellings as a completed and saleable asset.

Following concerns regarding the existing roof condition, Bloom carried out a drone-based inspection to assess defects and inaccessible areas safely. The findings informed remedial recommendations and a long-term maintenance strategy, providing the client with greater certainty and supporting future asset management.
